Wellington’s RaboPlus Big Coast is Calling!

Some of you may have heard stories about the iconic Big Coast mountain bike 2 day tour. While some Wellingtonian’s are happy to keep it their little secret, we’re keen to spread the word all across New Zealand!

A multi day mountain bike ride aimed at families – a perfect opportunity for all you die hard MTB enthusiasts to share your love (and the weekend!) with your family and mates!

The 2010 RaboPlus Big Coast event will run 13th and 14th March and covers around 100kms of the Wellington regions most spectacular, and otherwise not available trails.  Starting from Rimutaka Rail Trail through tunnels and gully’s, around the stunning Palliser Bay and past Pencarrow Head and finishing in Eastbourne.  

We are committed to ensuring the event is totally family friendly and by providing all meals, equipment transport, arranging camping and keeping entry fee’s super low - it really couldn’t be easier to get out and enjoy the ride!

The course isn't super technical, but it is around 50kms a day so there is definitely some fitness required. A perfect goal for you and your mates/family to train for this summer!
