RaboPlus Recreational Cycling Ranking
Because it’s not winning, its being faster than your mates that counts!

What is the Recreational Cycling Ranking?
The RaboPlus RCR is a series aimed at recreational riders getting more from their riding by tracking their progress, and having fun amongst fellow recreational riders from around NZ.
Just like following a golf handicap but for cyclists, any rider at any level can quickly get a gauge of how they're improving during the summer. Better still, you'll be able to have your own friendly rivalries amongst your work mates or social riding group by entering your team name!
Your ranking will be calculated from a minimum of TWO of a number of NZ's biggest and best recreational rides in 2010-2011 . You can always improve your ranking throughout the year by entering more events in the series. In future years the ranking maybe used to help seed recreational riders at the start line.

Series Information
The reality is, many of us when we ride, like to know where we placed and our time. Be it beating riding mates, reaching a goal or improving on last year, we all have a competitive bone in our bodies!
The RaboPlus Recreational Cycling Ranking is a brand new concept (maybe a first in the world!) integrating recreational rider results to calculate a national ranking. Just like tracking your golf handicap or squash ranking, you'll be able to track your progress over multiple events in the national recreational rider ranking.
All cyclists, at any level, can enter by joining BikeNZ’s online community RideStrong, and becoming a paid RideStronger or RideStrongest member. RideStrong do the rest and inform you of your results and national ranking via RideStrong homepage.
In year one the series will feature seven of New Zealand's most iconic events. So set a goal, be ranked top 10,000 or 1000, or even number one, or just be higher ranked than your riding mates. It’s simple, the more events you ride in the series and the better you do in each, the higher your ranking.
