BikeNZ are looking for a BikeNZ Road and Track (BRT) Manager. This role is the vital link between the BikeNZ team and the Road and Track Council. Your mission is to help lead the continued growth and development of competitive road and track cycling in New Zealand.
Your role will be to coordinate and ensure the delivery of all initiatives to help develop the road and track sport disciplines. In this varied role you’ll be hands on, involved in planning and delivering key events, facilitating council meetings and shaping the future of one of New Zealand’s leading sports. Not only will you be involved with the delivery of events but you will also view each event as a piece of the larger events strategy in which you will have a key role. You’ll be responsible for the coordination and development of BRT officials, event organisers and volunteers around the country. You will work with the BRT council, sport agencies, and stakeholders to create and implement development strategies for the sport, and assist the council with their planning and regular meetings.

This is a challenging, hands-on role that requires someone who is not afraid to swap between day to day tasks one minute and strategy development the next.
