Over two days, this non-competitive, family-friendly event will take you through approximately 100km of the most magnificent scenery the Wellington region has to offer. Much of the route is off-road with some parts only accessible for this event. The on-road sections are open to traffic, so normal road rules apply.
Starting at Tunnel Gully, you follow the Rimutaka Rail Trail through the tunnels (including the Summit Tunnel, over 500m in length) and down into the Wairarapa.
The course then hugs the spectacular coastline around Cape Palliser, past the Orongorongo Station, Turakirae Head, and Baring Head Lighthouse finishing up in Eastbourne.
